100 Films in 2011 » 094. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn 3D (2011) (Steven Spielberg, 2011) Well, this is a fine mess… The storyline was simple… near to the extent of being dull but I ended up really, really loving this. The animation was gorgeous and detailed, the 3D wasn’t non-existent/distracting, the colour palette was pretty, the action scenes were well thought out, and I would really love to get my own Snowy for Christmas (my only complaint would be the dog’s name change).
